Obamas childhood school, SDN 01 Menteng, Central Jakarta, do not make special preparations to welcome the alumni. No ornaments specially made to welcome Obama.

According to him, the school will select 10 letters in Indonesian and 10 letters in the English language to be sent to Obama. "We will work closely with the American ambassador to facilitate the delivery of congratulations," said Akhmad.

Akhmad hoped Obamas victory also has implications for SD 1 Menteng. "As a successful alumnus, said Obama became the motivation for children to learn to be successful like Obama.
