Obamas childhood school, SDN 01 Menteng, Central Jakarta, do not make special preparations to welcome the alumni. No ornaments specially made to welcome Obama.

Learning activities were running as usual today. According Hasimah, Principal SDN 01 Menteng, it has no special preparation because no one had told whether Obamas visit to the school or not.

"We expect Obama to come, but until now there is no certainty.s Why we do not make special preparations," he said when met at his office Kompas.com, Tuesday (11/09/2010).

Nevertheless, Hasimah say Obama is ready to welcome any time if given certainty about Obamas visit to the school. "Yes, we are ready despite being told last minute. Choir we have prepared to welcome Obama. Schools is also always clean, tidy, so ready," he said.

Until this afternoon SDN 01 Menteng students continue practicing choir. They hope to greet Obama directly with the songs that they bring. "Our hope was invited to the UI to convey a sense of welcome and treat these students disappointed because first was canceled," said Hasimah.
