Without first having to download. Service Tool. s Canon before it, then follow the steps below to complete

Step 1 to enter Service Mode.

Off.
Press the button. Stop / Reset. hold down the On button to turn it on.
Release the Stop / Reset button while holding down the ON button is pressed.
Then press the Stop / Reset button for 5 times continuously. Then release both buttons.
The green light is flashing on the A4 Plain Paper.

Step 2 Use the Service Tool.

Open the Service Tool.
The two sheets of paper to print out when the nuke.
The latter part of the Clear Ink Counter Reset Absorber Main_Black select and click Set.

At the rear of the Ink Absorber Counter Reset Absorber Main_Color select and click Set.

Auto tab to the top.
Click Start.
Check Finished answer is OK.
The printer will print. A message at the top about the "E500 M = V1.050 USB = (C012B6)".
Then turn off the machine. Then turn it on again.
