Samsung LED TV Repair

Samsung LED TV Repair

Then there is a very long time my brother had me talk about this problem, and as soon as my TV began messing around, neither one nor two I did not hesitate. The problem is well known, there is a lot of info on the net, so must we have already heard.

Symptoms: Your TV will not turn on or evil (my case), the screen flickers ... So actually for the same cause consequences can take many forms.

Reason: capacitors at the power stage make the core. And a diet that bullet spin can have repercussions on any of the subsystems that it supplies, where the variety of problems observed.

So I hop apart and bingo:

We see quite clearly that 3 condos are made of "bulking up" typical sign of death. At the obituary, we thus find three 820 uF 25V.

What does capacitor take for replacement?

So for that matter we will not make the same mistake that the manufacturer if these capacitors make the soul is what they were poorly dimensioned. So rather than 25V I put 35V and 40V (I made the Recycling). The absolute rule in all cases is to take at least a voltage equivalent. Turn youre lower and the capacitor will certainly explode! According to the capacity must ideally take the same person I did not so I put 470?F for two of the three (the third was entitled to 820 uF) and it works very well. And finally, of course, be careful with the size of the capacitor that is both compliant in relation to other components, and also that it is not too large in which case you could not go up the back panel of your TV ...

The repair is so childish: it dismantles the panel behind the TV, you disconnect the few tables, is unscrewed famous map, play the soldering iron to change the condos and the steps we take in reverse.

Important Note: be careful of course to the polarities of capacitors! Inversion = direct explosion

Why cum capacitors on / poorly dimensioned?

And yeah we are still entitled to say they abuse at Samsung, its still their job! For me three possible explanations and cumulative:

- Programmed obsolescence: its fashionable, finished products that last 20 years. Consumerism when you hold us ... and voluntarily insert "weak points" in the devices that shed sometime after the warranty, unfortunately, it has become commonplace ...

- Limiting costs more capacity or voltage, the higher the capacitor is expensive. You will say "for 20 cents! Seriously ?? "And yes, 20 cents multiplied by hundreds of thousands of products (in addition it limits the number of components used and, therefore, to order more in time and thus further reduce the unit price) it starts to make are significant (must pay fines to Apple: p)

- The specifications of the capacitor manufacturers are reduced increasingly. Indeed, whereas before a manufacturer 25V gave his condo, he could actually take it anymore. Now we are really close to 25V
