  • The printer is turned off and plugged the power cord.
  • Press and hold STOP / RESET then press and hold POWER.
  • Release the button STOP / RESET (do not release the POWER button)
  • Press the STOP / RESET 2 (two) times, then release the POWER button
  • Let the green light blink / kelip2x until the printer head stops moving. And LED panel shows the number zero.
  • The computer will detect new hardware, ignore it .....
  • This situation is shown in a state mp198 printer SERVICE MODE and ready to be reset.

  • 2 Prepare a paper in the printer (to print at the time of the reset)

Sometimes when the printer is reset but the printer still blingking too. That caused absorber is full, so even though the printer is reset still blingking. The solution I have printer and dismantle the cleaning of the absorber thus more ready to use. Printer All brand ink jet printer provides a special bath containing the ink-absorbing foam. If still blinking reset the printer.

Sering kali printer canon baru belum modifikasi pembuangan mengalami blink error 5B00 biasanya disebut Waste Ink Tank Absorber Full, hal ini disebabkan pembuangan pada printer mengalami kepenuhan sehingga mengharuskan untuk membuang tinta sisa yang diserap ampas didalam printer. Oleh karena itu kebanyakan printer sekarang  modifikasi tinta sudah termasuk modifikasi pembuangan tinta agar tidak terjadi kepenuhan, dan berikut cara membuat pembuangan serta mereset printer yang sudah mengalami error 5B00.

Langkah-langkahnya sbb :

Pembuangan Tinta

1. Membuat Pembuangan Printer Canon Pixma IP2770 
2. Buka baut printer canon 2 bagian depan dan 2 bagian lubang atas cover printer, Printer dalam keadaan mati dan kabel listrik terpasang.

Setelah selesai modif tinta pembuangan berikutnya masuk ketahap mereset printer agar menjadi normal kembali.

Resset Printer ke mode
1. Pertama pasang kabel power printer tekan tombol RESUME tahan, kemudian tekan tombol POWER sampai lampu hijau nyala(kondisi menekan ke22nya), selanjutnya jangan lepas tombol power tapi lepas tombol resume.
2. Tombol POWER masih ditekan, tekan tombol RESUME 5 kali. Led akan menyala bergantian orange hijau dengan nyala terakhir orange. (jangan sampai keliru 4x karena printer akan mati total, tapi sifatnya sementara juga).
3.  Lepaskan kedua tombol bersamaan.

4.  Led akan blink sebentar kemudian akan nyala HIJAU.

5.  Komputer akan mendeteksi device baru, abaikan saja.

6.  Printer iP2770 sudah dalam keadaan SERVICE MODE.

7.  Jalankan software resetter, bagi yang belum punya dapat download disini


Menjalankan software resetter

1.  Siapkan 2 lembar kertas bekas.

2.  Buka software, klik Main (maka printer akan melakukan print out satu kali)

3.  Klik eeprom clear berfungsi sebagai penghilang data informasi pada printer

4.  Klik eeprom (maka printer akan ngeprint sekali lagi) berfungsi melihat hasil eeprom yang sudah dihapus

5.  Matikan printer dan nyalakan lagi.


1. bila masih tidak bisa bekerja software tersebut secara normal, pakai resetter terbaru disini kemudian jalankan Service Tool 3400.
2.  Dikolom Clear ink counter pilih Main kemudian klik SET di sebelah kanannya.
3.  Dikolom Ink absorber counter pilih Main kemudian klik SET di sebelah kanannya.
4.  Dikolom Print klik EEPROM. Maka akan mencetak 1 halaman.
5.  Coba matikan printer lalu nyalakan kembali.

Selamat printer anda sudah bisa digunakan kembali...

Note :Bila software bekerja tetapi masih blink / software tidak bekerja maka ulangi mereset printer secara manual dilanjutkan mereset kembali.

If your printer show P07 error it means that your ink absorber inside the printer is almost full. In order to solve this you need to clear or reset the counter protection of your printer. To do this, follow this steps.

First make sure that the power cable and usb cable are connected, before you perform the reset procedure. And download the resetter at the bottom of this post.

FIRST STEPS:  Entering Service Mode
You have to enter in service mode in order to used the resetter. To do that follow this procedure,

1. Turn off the printer without pulling the power cords.
2. Hold down STOP/RESET button and press Power button.
3. Keep holding down Power button and let STOP/RESET button go.
4. Then Press STOP/RESET button twice then let BOTH buttons go.
5. You will notice that the Alternate Blinking error is gone, this means that the printer is in Service Mode state.
